In our office lighting designs, we prioritize a balance between technical precision and user well-being. We ensure that work surfaces maintain a steady illuminance of 500 lux to provide sufficient clarity for daily tasks. To prevent fatigue, we strictly control glare, keeping the Unified Glare Rating (UGR) at 19 or below through careful fixture placement.
We also focus on visual quality by selecting light sources with a CRI of at least 80 and a crisp color temperature of 4000K to promote alertness. By maintaining a uniformity ratio of 0.6, we eliminate distracting shadows across the floor plan. Lastly, we integrate smart sensors and daylight harvesting to automate energy savings, ensuring our lighting is as efficient as it is effective.
